New York Scenes 2010-2011

Photo Documentary
By Adrian WM Jones

A vintage romance shot on 1970's 35mm rangefinder cameras and processed at CVS pharmacies for a bygone era look.

This small collection of photographs attempts to capture the fairy tales which prove that falling in love with New York City is not just something that happens in the movies.

Made to look like scenes from a late 70's early 80's movie, New York Scenes fuses the two mediums to capture real life movie snapshots in 2010.

Architectural Photographer

As an architectural photographer I aim to create images which are something more than singular structural depictions. I search for narratives and exploit them, fusing documentary and architectural lines with refined lighting techiniqes (where necessary) to create a collection of images with a common thread. Navigated by story, mood and structure I capture the work of the architect to deliver representations of buildings which are more than an assembly of light and shape.
